28 For he will finish4931 the work,3056 and cut4932 it short4932 in righteousness:1343 because3754 a short4932 work3056 will the Lord2962 make4160 on the earth.1093

29 And as Esaias2268 said4280 before,4280 Except1508 the Lord2962 of Sabaoth4519 had left1459 us a seed,4690 we had been1096 as Sodoma,4670 and been made3666 like3666 to Gomorrha.1116

30 What5101 shall we say2046 then?3767 That the Gentiles,1484 which3588 followed1377 not after righteousness,1343 have attained2638 to righteousness,1343 even1161 the righteousness1343 which3588 is of faith.4102

31 But Israel,2474 which followed1377 after the law3551 of righteousness,1343 has not attained5348 to the law3551 of righteousness.1343

|
|
32 Why?1302 Because3754 they sought2212 it not by faith,4102 but as it were by the works2041 of the law.3551 For they stumbled4350 at that stumbling stone;3037
